2000 - 2004

  • Allseas secures its first project in South East Asia in early 2000, the Shell Malampaya project offshore Philippines, later executed successfully by Solitaire
  • In 2001 work starts on the conversion of Tog Mor  into a shallow water pipelay barge in Rotterdam
  • Solitaire  breaks her own water depth record in 2002, reaching 1,920 m (6,300 ft) on the Shell Nakika project in the Gulf of Mexico Tog Mor 
  • A dual-head welding system is installed on Phoenix 

  • Allseas executes the Victoria to Tasmania pipeline contract for Duke Energy in 2002, its first offshore Australia project
  • Arbitrators in the Sembawang dispute rule in favour of Allseas, stating that the original conversion contract of Solitaire  was rightfully terminated
  • In January 2003 the company buys the 141 m long cable lay vessel "Tyco Provider", for later conversion to Calamity Jane, to replace Trenchsetter
  • In October 2003, Solitaire  breaks her own lay speed record, setting a new world record in the process, laying 9.3 km of pipe in one day in the Gulf of Mexico
  • Solitaire  completes Allseas' first Middle East project, a pipeline in the Gulf of Aqaba for East Gas Company
  • Allseas awarded its first project in the Persian Gulf, offshore Iran
  • By the end of 2004 the company had successfully laid over 10,000 km of pipeline and trenched more than 2,800 km
