  • Solitaire  undergoes major upgrade work in Rotterdam that significantly increases her pipelaying capability and doubles her pipe holding  capacity; the near four month project prepares her for the deepest pipelay projects in the world
  • Allseas cements its reputation as the technically best and most reliable pipelay contractor in the world; a reputation only enhanced by Solitaire's  2005 upgrade
  • The company buys the 80 m long survey vessel Manta 
  • After 15 years of service Trenchsetter  is retired from service and replaced by the newly converted Calamity Jane
  • In July 2005 Allseas purchases the 222 m long bulk carrier "Geeview" for conversion to the fleet's latest DP pipelay vessel, Audacia
  • Working on the Atwater Valley project in the Gulf of Mexico in 2006, Solitaire  and Lorelay  set another water depth world record, laying 8 inch and 10 inch pipelines to a depth of 2,775 m (9,105 ft)
  • The same year, Solitaire  lays a 24 inch pipeline in 2,500 m (8,202 ft) water depth
  • In late 2006 a settlement is agreed with Sembawang Shipyard in the dispute over Solitaire's  conversion
  • Audacia  is christened following a successful construction period
  • After nearly a quarter of a century of design and planning Allseas officially announces its plan to build the platform installation / decommissioning and pipelay vessel Pieter Schelte; long-lead items such as the thrusters and DP system are ordered
  • The number of people the company employs onshore and on the vessels tops 2,000 for the first time
  • Audacia  successfully executes her first pipelay project in the North Sea for Shell
  • In 2008 the company orders the high-tensile steel for the jacket and topsides lift systems of Pieter Schelte
  • The company opens a new office in Mumbai, India, in March 2009, with the objective of enhancing the group's installation engineering capabilities
  • Solitaire  executes Allseas' first South American project in late 2009, the Straight of Magellan pipeline offshore Argentina for Transportadora de Gas del Sur
  • Detail design of Pieter Schelte  is awarded to Deltamarin and the company announces that construction will start in 2010
