In January 2008, Allseas’ dynamically positioned pipelay vessel Audacia finalised the installation of the L-09 pipeline for Shell UK Ltd. This was the first project that Audacia executed after being taken into service in the autumn of 2007. The 16-inch gas export pipeline with double 2-inch chemical injection piggyback pipeline is 19.5 km long and is located in the Dutch Continental Shelf of the Southern North Sea. The water depth along the pipelay route varied between approximately 21 and 25 m.
