During a three-month conversion period in 2005, Solitaire’s capacity was upgraded in order to meet the requirements of the ever-deeper water. The most significant improvements were the stinger elongation, the aftship strengthening, doubling the tension capacity and an upgrade of the abandonment and recovery system.
