Allseas currently operates three dynamically positioned pipelay vessels, one anchored pipelay barge and two dynamically positioned support vessels.
On board of the vessels, our marine and construction crews work in shifts of 12 hours in a five weeks on - five weeks off schedule.
Marine crew
The marine crew comprises a nautical, a technical and a catering crew. The nautical crew (mates, bosun, sailors, etc.) sails the vessel. The technical crew (engineers and mechanics) maintains all the installations on board, such as the main engine, the electrical plant and the safety equipment. The catering crew (cooks and stewards) takes care of all catering and cleaning related services on board.
Construction crew
The construction crew makes all the preparatory work come together in our core business: pipeline installation in the pipelay factory on board. To this end, welders work together with bevel machine operators, coating operators, riggers, quality inspectors, etc.
