Onshore

Allseas offers a wide range of career opportunities across a variety of disciplines in its offices, for example in Engineering, Project Management, Project Services or Commercial Services.

Engineering
The Engineering discipline consists of two main teams, Innovations and Installation Engineering.

Our Innovations team conceive, design and develop new vessels and the technical equipment. Innovations perform a great deal of conceptual design work; all our technical concepts are developed and engineered in-house. The team encourages creativity and inventiveness, resulting in a process in which you are involved from the initial drawing stage right up to and including construction.

Our Installation Engineering team carry out all the preparatory work required for all Allseas pipelay projects, each presenting its own unique technical challenges. Because of the nature of its scope, you are closely involved with the offshore execution of projects and regularly spend time at sea.

Project Management
The Project Management discipline covers all aspects of pipelay project management. Work is both demanding and hands-on, but is extremely rewarding and offers plenty of opportunity to develop your financial and commercial skills.

Grow to become an Assistant Project Manager and, eventually, a Project Manager, a job in which you assume responsibility for all facets of a project, from organising engineering, procurement, planning, cost control and contracts with subcontractors to reporting project developments to the client.

Project Services
The Project Services discipline supports Project Management, providing all the services necessary to successfully execute Allseas’ core business, pipeline installation. The discipline comprises a wide variety of specialised teams such as Vessel Management, Logistics and Procurement.

Vessel Management takes care of all the services required to keep the Allseas fleet of vessels in operation. The team manages the movement of vessels and ensures that all operational aspects of projects and vessel port calls are prepared, co-ordinated and executed in the most effective and efficient manner.

Logistics is responsible for the management of supplies to the vessels, while Procurement provides inter-departmental support for all projects including pipelay, technical maintenance, and vessel renovations and upgrades.

Commercial Services
The Commercial Services discipline prepares proposals for potential clients and carries out the subsequent negotiations, resulting in a pipelay contract that is then handed over to the Projects Department.

You are responsible for co-ordinating contract bids, both from a technical and planning aspect, preparing and executing proposals, and negotiations ensuring that tenders made by Allseas ultimately result in signed contracts.
