Big projects have always fascinated me—the scale, the complexity, and the way smart engineering and planning can make or break success. That curiosity led me to Allseas, where I started as a working student and quickly realised this industry is anything but ordinary.

A defining moment at Heavy Lift

After graduating, I joined the Heavy Lift Engineering department and got hands-on with some of the most ambitious offshore operations. One standout experience was leading one of the first heavy lift campaigns using the Jacket Lift System (JLS) on Pioneering Spirit. It was a defining moment: precision planning, teamwork under pressure, and seeing innovation in action on a vessel unlike any other.

Winning matters

Today, as part of the Proposals team, I work at the intersection of engineering and strategy. My role spans both pipelay and heavy lift, where I shape solutions that combine technical ingenuity with cost efficiency. Collaborating with clients to turn complex challenges into executable plans is what keeps the job exciting. And yes—winning matters. Securing projects like Gippsland in Australia, Trion in the Gulf of Mexico, and Mento in Trinidad proves how impactful a well-crafted proposal can be.
