A decade of innovation and trust
Since beginning operations in 2016, Pioneering Spirit has safely removed and transported over 250,000 tonnes of decommissioned North Sea platform facilities to shore for disposal and recycling.
Pioneering Spirit continues to set historic milestones, including the single-lift removal and transport of Shell’s iconic Brent field platforms – Delta, Bravo, Alpha and Charlie. Executed between 2017 and 2024, the Brent decommissioning project is unique in its scale and complexity.
With hundreds of offshore installations in the North Sea set for decommissioning in the coming decades, Allseas is set to play a pivotal role.
