Transport & single-lift installation of two 900 MW offshore converter stations

Deployment of all lift systems (TLS, JLS, 5000-t crane) 

Combined will supply over 2.2 million households with clean electricity

Scope of work

  • Transport of transformer topsides & jacket from fabrication yard (Cadiz, Spain) to Rotterdam for transfer to Pioneering Spirit
  • Transport to the field and single-lift installation of 12,500-tonne converter topsides (with TLS) & 8,000-tonne jackets (with JLS)
  • Lift, stab & drive the foundation piles (incl. noise mitigation) with 5000-tonne crane
  • Grout the annulus between the piles & pile sleeves
  • Perform jacket cut-off
  • ROV debris survey
