Allseas joins forces with STL Nuclear to fast-track reactor design

To advance the technical design of our in-house developed Small Modular Reactor (SMR), Allseas is strengthening its nuclear team with decades of expertise.  

We’ve partnered with STL Nuclear, a South African-based leader in Generation IV nuclear reactor technology.

STL Nuclear brings a core team of technical specialists in fuel and reactor design, with a proven track record in developing high-temperature modular gas-cooled reactor (HTMR) and fuel plant technologies. Their mission aligns with ours: to deliver clean and safe nuclear power.

This collaboration enhances Allseas’ growing nuclear capability and supports the development of our reactor’s inherent safety features and a responsible, secure fuel cycle.

Allseas aims to establish a dedicated production facility by 2030, with initial deployment on land while offshore regulatory frameworks evolve.
