The trenching support vessel Calamity Jane  assists Allseas’ pipelayers with activities such as pre- and post-route survey, crossing preparation and mattress installation. She also operates as an independent unit with the mechanical pipeline trencher Digging Donald. Allseas has trenched approximately 3750 km of pipeline worldwide, up to a diameter of 42 inches, in soil conditions ranging from loose sand to very hard clay.
