Highly competitive for pipelay projects worldwide
Audacia’s dynamic positioning system allows precise operations even in congested areas, while a custom “plug-and-play” anchor mooring option supports shallow-water scopes, enhancing operational flexibility. With fast pipeline start-ups and lay-downs, Audacia minimises disruption around platforms, while the vessel’s bow-mounted stinger enhances transit speed, reducing downtime.
The vessel’s 225-metre length accommodates generous pipe storage and multiple workstations. She features a high-capacity firing line, backed by fully automated line-up, welding and inspection systems, and a piggyback line for bundled installations, enhancing her production performance and efficiency, offering competitive advantages across global pipelay projects.

Enhanced efficiency in pipelay
Allseas first pipelay vessel to be retrofitted with hybrid power technology, Audacia optimises energy use during installation campaigns, lowering emissions through efficient power storage and load management. Batteries store energy when demand is low and deliver it back when demand increases, shaving peaks in power demand. The result is optimal engine loading with improved fuel efficiency and reduced running hours.
